Eric Christ
President
Eric Christ has 17 years of leadership experience in marketing and product
management with information technology companies. He came to Patient Placement Systems
from McKesson Corporation, a Fortune 15 provider of healthcare software and services,
where he held several senior management positions including vice president of
marketing and product development, vice president of operations, and interim
CIO for McKesson’s subsidiary in the United Kingdom. In these positions, Christ
provided executive leadership for product management, business development, market
research, and marketing communications functions. Prior to McKesson, he was the
senior vice president for product delivery at 1stAg Corporation. Christ spent
eight years at Harbinger Corporation, a leading e-commerce software and services
provider where he served as senior director of portal solutions. He has an MBA
from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he was a Woodruff Fellow.
He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University.
Christ is active in the healthcare and Internet industries as an author and speaker,
including presentations for the College of Healthcare Information Management
Executives, the Data Interchange Standards Association, and the Electronic
Messaging Association. He is a member of the Technology Executives Roundtable (TER),
the Atlanta CEO Council, and the Technology Association of Georgia.
Doug Kline
Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer for Jackson Healthcare, Doug Kline coordinates
all financial and accounting operations for Patient Placement Systems and the
other JH companies. He brings to the company more than 30 years of
progressive financial and operations experience from several industries, including
healthcare. Among his professional accomplishments are starting up and developing a
new division for a large construction equipment rental operation and directing
internal audit functions for a $180-million public holding company with
eight operating subsidiaries. A certified public accountant in Florida with
BS and MBA degrees from Florida State University, Kline spent the first
seven years of his career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse.
Michael Hiffa
Vice President of Human Resources
Michael Hiffa brings with him over twenty years of Human Resources experience to his
role of Vice President of Human Resources for all Jackson Healthcare companies.
He has served as a senior member of the executive team for Regency LTAC Hospital
Company and two major financial corporations in the Property and Casualty industry,
with overall HR responsibilities for 10,000 employees nationwide. Hiffa is a Strategic
Human Resources professional with demonstrated accomplishments in building strong
organizational cultures. He was instrumental in developing performance management
systems based on core competencies and leadership concepts in addition to creating
employee retention programs and succession plans at all levels through out his
career. His areas of expertise include employee relations, change management,
coaching, and mentoring. Hiffa is a graduate of Syracuse University and received
his JD from John Marshall School of Law.
Marty Bryne
Vice President of Sales
With over twenty-three years of experience in healthcare information technology,
Marty Byrne has a record of leadership in sales, account management and consulting.
Prior to joining Patient Placement Systems, Byrne was a consulting sales manager
for Oracle/PeopleSoft. While there, he was responsible for the development
and sales of large scale consulting projects to healthcare clients. In addition,
he led the sales effort for several emerging software companies focused on new
technologies for the healthcare market. As a consultant at Ernst & Young,
Byrne specialized in strategic systems planning and enterprise wide implementations.
He has worked with university health systems, specialty hospitals, rehab and
senior living chains. He has been featured as a speaker at numerous
industry events including recent seminars sponsored by the CMSA and OMG.
He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Teresa Allie
Account Executive
Teresa Allie brings over twenty years of diverse sales experience to Patient
Placement Systems, most recently in the telecommunications industry where she
was employed with AT&T, MCI, and Westinghouse Communications. Her focus was
on corporate sales within the Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies. She
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Union College.
Victoria Fisher
Account Executive
Victoria Fisher has more than 14 years of healthcare industry experience.
Prior to joining Patient Placement Systems, she was the General Manager
and Marketing Manager of InHealth Software Solutions, a provider of
document imaging software for medical practices. Before that, Fisher was
the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Emory Eastside Medical Center
for seven years where she was the hospital spokesperson and responsible for community
relations. She began her healthcare career as Marketing Manager of Royal Oaks
Senior Living Community, a full continuum of care facility, affiliated with
Hamilton Health Care System in Dalton, Georgia. Fisher has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
She has also held several community leadership positions such as president of
the South Gwinnett Rotary Club, as well as a member of the Board of
Directors of the American Cancer Society-Gwinnett Chapter, Gwinnett Coalition for
Health & Human Services, and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful.
Darren Mackelprang
Director of Development
With over ten years of web and software development experience, Darren Mackleprang
has been instrumental in the development of Patient Placement Systems’ Web-based solutions.
He was also integral in designing, architecting, and developing several other web-based
businesses for Jackson Healthcare including www.locumtenens.com, www.vino.com,
and www.timeviper.com. He was a programmer/analyst for Levi, Ray and Shoupe,
where he was involved in developing numerous web and desktop based applications for
various clients. Mackleprang was the webmaster of the corporate intranet for Emerson
Electric, a Fortune 500 company. He also managed a team that developed over
25 web-based training applications for Banker's Training and Consulting Company.
Mackelprang is the co-author of "Multivariate Statistical Analysis for Managers,"
an interactive educational software product used by the University of Illinois.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Utah State University and completed graduate
studies in multi-media technology at Illinois State University. Mackleprang is a
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.
Felicia Wilson, LMSW, LNHA
Director of Customer Care
Felicia Wilson brings over seven years of experience in the healthcare industry to
Patient Placement Systems. Previously she was with WellStar Paulding Nursing Center
as Assistant Administrator. She has worked as a social worker, admissions director
and assistant administrator in nursing homes and hospitals. Wilson holds
two licenses in the state of Georgia–Licensed Master Social Worker and
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LMSW, LNHA). She received her Master of
Social Work degree from Florida State University and Bachelor of Social Work degree
from Alabama State University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree
in Health and Human Services from Capella University. Wilson is an associate
professor at Shorter College where she teaches courses in the School of
Education and Social Sciences.
